Het onderzoekscentrum AREU (Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit) meldt dat een aantal samenvattingen van zijn recente publicaties vertaald is in het Pashtoe en Dari. Deze twee talen worden in Afghanistan het meest gesproken.
AREU has released summaries of a number of its recent publications translated into Dari and Pashto.
The 2011 “A to Z Guide to Afghanistan Assistance” is now available in both Dari and Pashto.
“Running out of Options,” which documents declining livelihood security of rural Afghan households, is available in Dari and Pashto.
“Deconstructing Democracy in Afghanistan,” which explores Afghans’ perceptions on the nature and role of democracy, is available in Dari and Pashto.
“Local Governance in Afghanistan: A View from the Ground,” which examines current local governance arrangements and lays out policy options for the future, is available in Dari.
All of these publications are available for download at AREU’s website at www.areu.org.af. Hard copies of all publications listed here will also be available by the end of August.
